Trio Ardiente is a collaboration of clarinetist Joseph Rutkowski , cellist Suzanne Mueller, and pianist/tanguera Claudine Robins, offering programming focused on tangos and other music of passion . The current iteration of this program includes tangos new and old (including by Isaac Albeniz, Nico Gutierrez, and Reed Robins, who composed Tanguera, a powerful work, for Claudine), but also works by Cuban composer Paquito D'Rivera, Bossa Nova master Antonio Carlos Jobim, Cole Porter, Max Bruch, and an Ave Maria (alternate title: Tanto Anni Prima/Many Years Ago) by Nuevo Tango master Astor Piazzolla.We can also be engaged as a cello/piano duo.
