Pianist Elinor Abrams Zayas and clarinetist Josh Redman open the newly-renamed Music on a Sunday Afternoon (previously West Porch Beech Tree) concert series with a program of duets and solos spanning centuries, continents, and styles.

The program features a seamless blend of beloved favorites and new discoveries, by composers including Johannes Brahms, Claude Debussy, Gerald Finzi, George Gershwin, Nigel Hess, Witold Lutoslawski, Kalman Opperman, Gabriel Pierne, Astor Piazzolla, and Robert Schumann.

The concert will take place, rain or shine, in the lovely Orchard Hill Barn (which offers both indoor and outdoor seating - and a/c in the event of inclement weather!).

This season, I'll have to miss performing, due to surgery, but I'm pleased to be curating the its 16th season and to be kicking it off with my CROSS ISLAND collaborators, continuing a 12-year tradition.

The concert is free with admission to the Gardens: General Admission - $12.00 Over 62 - $10.00 Children 7-17 - $ 7.00 Students with valid ID - $10.00 Members & Children 6 and under - Free
